Friday Fill-In

Have a great weekend!!

1. We need more hours in the day.

2. The kids laughed and it made me smile.

3. If you want noise and commotion, come on over!

4. I work because I have to.

5. Massachusetts has a proposed 5% sales tax on elective cosmetic surgery; I think the money the state receives should be put to good use helping those struggling for decent health insurance.

6. Spending quality time with family makes for a happy holiday.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to relaxing with a glass of wine, tomorrow my plans include going to the Nuggets game and Sunday, I want to have a great Scentsy show at Lori's!

Want to Join the fun??

I need to know what "elective cosmetic" surgery is before I judge. Botox? Yes. A breast reduction or reconstruction? Not so much. Where do you draw the line in what to tax and what not? Is a nose job for an eighteen-year-old who has been teased mercilessly her whole life and has the self-esteem and confidence of a badly bullied child really that elective if it'll let her get to college and start fresh and rise above that abuse she's had to endure?

Ya know? It's a fine line.

However, I don't dispute your view. This sort of thing WOULD be a good use for people who need help. And my goodness, people need the help.

It's just... where do you draw the line?
